The All-New 2025 BMW X3 Brings Bold Performance and Gorgeous Style

The all-new 2025 BMW x3 brings incredible performance and sleek style to the compact luxury SUV class, along with cutting-edge infotainment technologies.

The base X3 30 xDrive model relies on 48V mild hybrid technology for 255 horsepower while its M50 version boasts 393 horses from an inline six.

Features

The 2025 BMW X3 marks the fourth generation of this best-selling SUV from BMW. Now larger and sporting new styling details as well as improved powertrains and upgraded technology features inside, this SUV now stands apart from its predecessors.

The 2025 model X3 features an upright front end enhanced by a bolder interpretation of BMW’s kidney grille with vertical and diagonal bars in its new structure. Furthermore, Iconic Glow contour lighting surrounds it and highlights its distinctive shape.

Inside, the 2025 X3 offers an attractive driver-focused cabin featuring standard sports seats and a flat-bottom steering wheel. Additionally, its large curved display seems to float across its dashboard while ambient lighting can be changed depending on your mood.

Advanced active safety systems are now widely available, such as forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane keep assist, as well as Maneuver Assistance that memorizes up to 10 driving maneuvers of 650 feet for effortless parking in tight driveways or parking lots. Driving Assistant Professional also includes Maneuver Assistance that memorizes up to ten maneuvers for effortless parking in tight driveways or lots.

Design

The fourth-generation BMW X3 stands out with its striking front grille, distinctive headlights and sleek lines – not to mention its larger footprint without compromising passenger or cargo capacity.

BMW has taken steps to enhance agility, cornering stability and long-distance comfort with their 2025 BMW x3’s improved roll resistance ratio and more refined suspension tuning.

The X3 xDrive30 maintains its predecessor’s turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, producing 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque for a zero to 60 time of less than six seconds. Meanwhile, its M50 sibling boasts 393 horsepower inline six engine with an even faster acceleration time of just 4.4 seconds. Both trims offer all-wheel drive.

Engines

The BMW X3 pioneered the compact luxury SUV market back in 2004 and remains its best-selling model worldwide. Now in its fourth-generation form, this winning formula remains in place while adding more comfort, cutting-edge technologies, and impressive fuel efficiency that remain competitive with rival models.

The 2025 BMW X3 offers two gas-powered engines – the 30 xDrive with its 255hp four-cylinder and 393hp six-cylinder units is available overseas while BMW’s Neue Klasse EV platform will support fully electric variants such as iX3.

Both engines of the X3 take advantage of Efficient Dynamics Next tech package offered by BMW, featuring Miller combustion cycle technology, revised intake ports and combustion chamber geometry as well as improvements made to injection system and ignition system technologies.

Performance

BMW’s X3 SUV fills an essential niche in their lineup, between the X1 and X5 models. This new version is slightly larger than before but also boasts improved fuel economy and lower drag coefficient. Both XDrive30 models use mild hybrid four-cylinders while M50 models use powerful inline-sixes.

Both engines are coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission for optimal driving comfort and safety, enhanced with precise powertrain tuning and chassis tweaks, along with semi-autonomous driving systems. A new interior design and upgraded materials create an exquisite feel inside, including Veganza/Alcantara combination seating as well as Extended Merino leather options for upholstery options.

Interior

BMW is known for combining superior performance with luxurious amenities, and their 2025 X3 delivers both. Additionally, it’s longer, wider and lower than before to create an even more aggressive appearance.

Inside, the BMW X3 features BMW’s trademark curved display with integrated digital gauge cluster and infotainment screen. Running on iDrive 9, this system supports video streaming services, music apps, in-car gaming applications and navigation services – among others.

Redesigned flat-bottom steering wheels complete the premium ambience in this progressive cabin design. Sustainability plays an integral part in its creation as plant-based Veganza leather and sustainable knitted woven fabric are optional dash coverings. Safety and long distance comfort have also been greatly enhanced; driver assistance features such as automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist and blind spot monitoring are provided along with upgraded parking assistance features that account for road markings and curbs.
